Non-Slip Buckle Prevents Movement

The Nite Ize CamJam Tie Down Strap is ideally meant for keeping heavy loads secure during travel. The 6-foot-long belt is made from woven polypropylene for added strength and durability. The strap measures 1 inch wide and includes a cast zinc allow cam mechanism, which has a non-slip buckle. Not only does the buckle create a high tension pull to prevent movement, it also allows users to control the speed at which the belt is loosened in order to prevent injury while unloading. The Nite Ize CamJam Tie Down Strap can be used in 2 different ways:

Loop Configuration involves creating a loop with the strap and wrapping it around 2 anchor points.

Lockout Configuration is a bit more complex; however it provides users with the ability to position the cam-lock at an exact location. This setup also allows for the strap to be assembled in position prior to loading bulk items. This will prevent the sliding of the strap during assembly. Another benefit of the the Lockout Configuration is the increased 3-to-1 tensioning advantage. For example, an applied force of 100 pounds can induce up to 300 pounds of tension in the belt. Regular cam-lock systems do not have the flexibility and strength to carry such heavy loads.
