Marttiini Salmon Filleting Knife – Curly Birch & Bronze Handle

The Marttiini Salmon is a filleting knife made from 420 high carbon steel with a 13% chromium to provide a strong, durable blade that is resistant to rusting.

The design of the blade combined with the stainess steel construction produced a sharp flexible filleting blade to match the needs of Finnish fishermen.  Measuring in at 19cm long this single edged blade bears the engraved name of Janne Marttiini.

The handle is made from heat treated curly birch decorated with a cast bronze salmon head and a smalll brass ferrule finger guard.

Overall the total length of the knife is 31cm long and includes a black leather sheath for storage when not in use.

This knife comes in a wooden gift box for safe stowage during transport.
