This is a very flexible device.
Firstly, it can be operated as a multi-input Bluetooth transmitter. It is capable (as a radio) of receiving and storing up to 6 DAB+ or FM stations, as well as a line-in input and transmitting this via Bluetooth® to Bluetooth®-enabled remote headphones or speakers in stereo.
Secondly, it can be operated as a Bluetooth receiver accepting Bluetooth signals and producing an audio line out of that signal. You could, for example enjoy music from your cell phone to a non-Bluetooth stereo speaker set. (You must, of course have an amplifier to take the line output of this unit, either by powered speakers or a separate amplifier.)
The unit, in either mode, has a backlit clock, and calendar/date display alarm etc. It could easily be a bedside unit.
